Depression: When Negative Focus Slows the Body and Mind
When a stimulus from the outside world touches our sense organs—eyes, ears, skin, nose, or tongue—it does not directly become our experience. Instead, it is converted into electrical signals that travel through the nervous system. These signals pass through synapses, the microscopic gateways where one neuron communicates with another.
But synapses are not just passive relay points. They act like filters, deciding which signals are strong enough, relevant enough, or in “frequency match” with the patterns stored in the subconscious mind. This filtering ensures that only signals resonating with inner beliefs and emotions are allowed deeper into the brain.
From Signals to Neurochemistry
Once accepted, the signal fires an action potential in the neuron. Neurotransmitters such as serotonin, dopamine, or glutamate are released. These travel to other neurons and also stimulate the hypothalamus and pituitary gland—the neuroendocrine centers of the brain.
The hypothalamus–pituitary axis directs the release of hormones into the bloodstream. These hormones carry the emotional message beyond the brain, reaching the immune system and the body’s vital organs.
Depression and Negative Neurochemistry
- External Stimulus
— Life’s pressures like loss, unmet expectations, or ongoing stress ( internal dominant focus(Idf) is negative in frequency ) - Synaptic Filtering (Subconscious Match)
— Incoming signals are filtered by synapses based on emotional resonance with stored beliefs. Vibrational frequencies of IDF and incoming signals are matched . Only files which are already stored in schemas of the mind are absorbed from outside by frequency matching . No new information is allowed inside . Exceptions are loud frequencies like in advertisements or states of extreme relaxation as in meditation that bypass the filters when repeated. - Neuron & Neurotransmitter Activity
— The neuron shoots an electric discharge in receiving signals which is called an action potential: neurotransmitters like serotonin, dopamine, or glutamate are released. - Neural Pathways & Hypothalamus–Pituitary Activation
— Signals travel through neurons to the hypothalamus and pituitary, triggering hormone release. - Hormone Release (HPA Axis & Cortisol)
— This neuroendocrine activation releases cortisol into the bloodstream. - Organ-Function Targeted Inflammation
— The dominant low-frequency emotion—such as the sense of slowdown or fatigue in depression—resonates with organs of vitality (sleep regulation, digestion, immunity, and heart rhythm). In neon-seconds, cortisol and inflammatory signals are directed to these systems, causing dysregulation. - Physical Manifestation
— Symptoms emerge: fatigue, digestive issues, weakened immunity, disrupted sleep patterns, and overall heaviness.
The Deeper Insight
Depression is not just “in the mind.” It is a mind–body chain reaction:
External Stress → Synapse (Filter) → Neurotransmitter Imbalance → HPA Axis → Cortisol Release → Organs of Vitality Suppressed → Symptoms of Depression.
The body mirrors the subconscious truth: “If life feels hopeless, the body will lose energy to live fully.”
But this chain can be broken. Practices like repetitive insightful counselling , psychodynamic therapy , applied behaviour analysis, mindfulness, energy healing, regression therapy and positive affirmations retrain the subconscious filter. They shift the Internal Dominant Focus (IDF) toward higher-frequency emotions of hope, love, and peace. As neurotransmitters rebalance and cortisol decreases, the organs restore their natural rhythm,
The Healing Chain of Depression
Every experience begins as an electric signal received by our sense organs. Each signal carries a vibrational frequency. Whether that frequency is perceived as positive, neutral, or negative is determined by the dominant emotional charge (Internal Dominant Focus, IDF) stored in the body.
The subconscious mind acts like a filter. It accepts only those signals whose frequency matches the beliefs, values, and perceptions already encoded within us. This means two people can face the same situation but experience it very differently—because their inner frequencies decide which version of reality is accepted.
When the internal frequency ( IDF) is dominated by hopelessness, helplessness, or loss, the body’s filters only allow in negative signals. These reinforce depressive states, creating changes not just in mood but also in neurotransmitters, hormones, and organ function.
External information is not absorbed randomly by the brain. It is only accepted when its vibrational frequency matches the beliefs, values, and perceptions already stored in the body.
This means that when a person holds negative internal frequencies (hopelessness, helplessness, loss), the subconscious filters only allow information in signals that confirm negativity. Hence, the repeated loop sustains depression.
However , the filters are not fixed. They are flexible and can be reshaped with Neuro plasticity activated in the subconscious mind. Through changing circumstances, reducing pressure on oneself, regression therapy, counseling, self-help practices, meditation, mindfulness or encounters with positive energy that can create an internal IDF shift, the subconscious can be guided to reframe negativity into positivity. This is called Transcendence.
Medicines also attempt to shift internal frequencies by influencing neurotransmitters. However, when intense, repetitive negative thinking dominates, the brain continues to release large amounts of negatively charged neurotransmitters that medicine alone cannot substitute.
The true breakthrough happens when the internal frequency itself changes with awareness and practise . Once the inner vibration shifts, the subconscious filter also changes. Codes of receptivity crack and are reinstalled by practice with self help or deep healing therapy. This allows:
- Acceptance of positive signals,
- Release of neurotransmitters of joy and calm,
- Balanced hormonal flow, and
- Restoration of organ function.
✨ Healing begins when the inner vibrational frequency realigns with positivity, enabling both the mind and body to return to harmony.
- Neuroplasticity occurs: the synapse is altered.
- The brain begins to accept signals carrying positive vibrational frequency.
- These signals activate neurons that release positive neurotransmitters (serotonin, dopamine, oxytocin).
- The HPA axis is balanced, releasing calm and growth hormones instead of stress hormones.
- Organs responsible for vitality (digestion, immunity, heart, sleep cycles) regain natural balance.
✨ With regular practice of cultivating positivity internally, the reality perceived externally also shifts. Positive thoughts are not just “psychological”—they create biological change by altering neurotransmitters, hormones, and ultimately, life experience.
Signal → Vibrational Frequency (negative)
→ Synapse (Filter) – accepts signals that match stored beliefs of hopelessness, loss, or helplessness
→ Neuron of Matching Frequency – strengthens neural pathways of despair
→ Neurotransmitter Release (negative) – ↓ serotonin & dopamine, ↑ glutamate → reduced pleasure, increased stress
→ Action Potential (negative frequency) – carries coded emotion of “slowing down”
→ HPA Axis Activation – hypothalamus–pituitary–adrenal system releases cortisol
→ Hormones (negative) – chronic cortisol suppresses repair systems
→ Organ Function – cortisol signals organs linked to vitality (digestion, sleep, immunity, heart rhythm) to slow down
→ Manifestation: Depression – fatigue, sleep disturbance, poor digestion, weak immunity, emotional heaviness
✨ In neon-seconds, repeated hopeless thoughts become a vibrational frequency that instructs organs to shut down vitality. Depression is not only in the mind—it is the body’s response to an emotional frequency locked in repetition. It can be healed with repetitive motion.
✨ Healing depression means shifting the IDF from hopelessness to hope—restoring balance in both brain chemistry and body function.
